Having Windows Update problem.
Windows Update will not install 4 important updates. I have tried updating manually with no luck. Windows Update is giving me the following Error Code: Code 800B0100. Has anyone encountered this same problem? Does anyone know how to fix it?

RE: Having Windows Update problem.
I've had similar problems myself, I'm on Vista Home Premium 64-bit and am unable to install one of the service packs, first I tried from the OS by just running Windows update but that kept failing and could never find a solution, then I tried going to the Microsoft website and download the service pack from there but that also failed.
Any solutions would be helpful. |

RE: Having Windows Update problem.
I saw another thread elsewhere with the same error, the guy turned off his firewall temporarily (It was McAffee) and that fixed the problem.

RE: Having Windows Update problem.
Assuming you're still having the problem, navigate yourself to the Microsoft Website and they have avaliable complete updates/patches in the form of executables which are aimed toward those who work with many computers in environments like businesses and other IT suites. Makes their job easier, and could help you out. I think its called a Technical Distribution.
Good luck, keep us posted
